Our client is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join this dynamic ecommerce marketplace platform team to drive product innovation for our sellers and lead market success. We are seeking product marketer to drive both inbound product marketing and outbound go-to-market strategies for seller experiences. This role is an ongoing full time hours contract opportunity that operates remotely, ideally on PST hours.


  • Rate range: $48-53/hr DOE


Key Responsibilities:


  • Influence Product Roadmaps: Synthesize market, customer, and competitive insights to shape product roadmaps, build audience segmentations, and identify opportunities.
  • Customer Feedback Integration: Establish customer feedback loops during product and marketing development to refine product narratives and value propositions.
  • Develop Messaging and Proof Points: Craft compelling product value propositions, narratives, customer messaging, naming conventions, and external proof points.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Manage and execute go-to-market strategies for product launches, ensuring effective implementation and impact measurement through collaboration with channel experts.
  • Post-Launch Monitoring: Track customer engagement, product adoption, and business success post-launch, partnering with teams across marketing, PR, customer service, in-market, and sales channels to drive demand.
  • Product Market Fit and Feedback Synthesis: Identify key product market fit metrics and synthesize customer feedback to refine and optimize product marketing messaging and product recommendations.
  • Define and Track Metrics: Establish key success metrics and monitor progress against goals for product launches and market growth of existing products or services.


Required Qualifications:


  • Experience: 3+ years in product marketing, preferably in an ecommerce marketplace environment.
  • Strategic Development: Proven track record in developing product and go-to-market strategies within ecommerce companies.
  • Innovation and Execution: Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and execute projects with excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Success in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and strong communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills and experience with customer research techniques.
