JOB DUTIES:

  • Set up case in case management system including but not limited to setting up claims, sending out letters of representation, requesting first round of medical bills and records, investigating incident, and instructing client on the next steps of the case. Request any other documents (police report, dash cam/body cam, surveillance video) necessary.
  • Lead point of contact for client. Communicate with client at least every 30 days regarding treatment status, case status, and obtaining necessary documents.
  • Request medical bills/records. Review medical bills/records for completion and issues. Keep bills/records organized in an electronic folder.
  • Scan, download and save all correspondence, photos, records, bills, documents, and pleadings in specific folders.
  • Work with insurance company adjuster on case status, and negotiations. Draft demand letters and track all offers and demands. Update client on status of negotiations and potential case value/net settlement.
  • Set up subrogation claims. Verify final subrogation balances and request reductions. Verify medical balances and negotiate liens. Request operating checks and mail out payment and correspondence to providers. Request settlement checks and complete all settlement procedure items.
  • Answer phones and speak with potential new clients, clients, adjusters, medical providers, and attorney. Answer questions as you are able, and relay messages to the attorney for additional information. If necessary, complete intakes and schedule potential new client meetings.
  • Draft demand letter, complaints, discovery to defendants and discovery responses from plaintiffs. Draft mediation statements, motions, orders, petitions and other legal documents. Review all legal documents as necessary and present them to the attorney for review and possible next steps.
  • Coordinate service of process via process server, certified mail, or commissioner of insurance. Track service date and update case management system.
  • File lawsuits, motions, orders, and other legal documents via electronic portals or physical court locations.
  • Research specific issues and prepare presentations for training as necessary.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, doctors, and clients to schedule depositions, meetings, mediations, and trials. Schedule pre-deposition meetings with client and set up Zoom link.


  • The salary for this full-time position is adequate with experience and ranges from $55,000.00 to $70,000.00. Benefits offered include medical insurance, 401k retirement plan, quarterly in-office reward events, and vacation
