Title: Financial Counselor

Location: Morristown, NJ, 07960

Shift: 9am – 5pm

Duration: 13-Weeks Contract

Pay Range: $17 to $20 per hour


Job Description:

  • Create payment arrangements via cash, check, credit card or payment plan as appropriate.
  • Utilizes the Epic estimator tool to provide estimates and collect upfront payments, deductible and copays.
  • Interviews patients at bedside, on the phone or in the office to determine eligibility for financial assistance.
  • Completes and approves or submits completed applications for charity care, Medicaid and 501R.
  • Obtains insurance information, checks eligibility for active coverage and updates patients accounts accordingly.


Required Skills:

  • Charity Care experience, EOB experience, Medicaid experience, Upfront cash collection.
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Completed High School/GED
