LHH is currently partnering with a well-known nonprofit in the Baltimore, MD area looking to bring on temporary several Client Support Specialist. This position will being ASAP and extend through April 2025. The pay for the position will be between $23-$25 an hour based on experience and the position will offer some hybrid flexibility.


This includes managing customer service communications through phone, email, and video calls, while also focusing on essential financial aspects like compliance, reporting, audits, and training. The ideal candidate will showcase a strong ability to solve problems effectively and consistently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Familiarize and comply with organizational bylaws, policies, and procedures.
  • Achieve and exceed established performance metrics, including handling times, quality standards, customer service benchmarks, and schedule adherence.
  • Identify when to escalate specific inquiries to the appropriate manager, particularly concerning compliance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer service interactions using relevant software and tools, following established protocols.
  • Gather and retain necessary financial documentation within the software system as required.
  • Utilize strong computer skills to navigate multiple systems efficiently, providing timely responses to finance-related questions.
  • Analyze metrics and processes to generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
  • Execute compliance monitoring plans, including tracking and reporting on annual filings and addressing unit overages.
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and a relevant College Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in relationship management, serving as a proactive resource for compliance-related inquiries or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to follow through consistently until issues are resolved.
  • Experience using data to identify root causes and improve processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Intermediate keyboarding skills (minimum 40 WPM, proficient in touch typing and document formatting).
