BEPC has an open position for an Engineer in Software Controls
Location: Westbrook, ME
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
Pay Rate: $43.00 - $45.00 Per Hour with Weekly Pay
Shift: M – F 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Term: 3-month contract with possible extensions or permanency (Based on Performance)
Requirements: BA degree in Engineering / 4+ years of experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Combination of two primary tasks.
- The highest priority, which is returning equipment to production, troubleshooting, and addressing root causes.
- 2nd, and the heavier burden project. 3 major projects including machines up and running and programmed to work best with company’s applications.
- Ability to read electrical mechanical design documentation.
- To troubleshoot, this is important. Looking for a glorified electrician.
- Regulated industry experience is a must-have.
- Top 3 Technical Skills: familiarity with Allen Bradley studio 5,000, Ethernet connectivity (IP Logic), Regulatory environment familiarity.
- Additional Details: Will need to lift to 50 lbs. when working on the machines occasionally.
- Local traveling between sites, one in Scarborough and one in Westbrook.
- Primary location is Westbrook. Local candidates are highly preferred.
