Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement sales strategies to increase revenue with both new and existing clients.
  • Drive new product placements and gain market share for all product lines.
  • Understand market dynamics within channel-to-market, including competitors, fabricators, dealers, architects, installers, and other industry players in the window coverings market.
  • Continuously build your market and product knowledge by completing assigned training provided by the company.
  • Deliver channel partner training programs, including hands on, web-based, and on-demand Learning Management System (LMS) content.
  • Gather voice-of-the-customer information to inform new product development.
  • Develop insights to quantify market size and share by vertical market, product line, and channel through market analysis and an in-depth understanding of the customer and competitor base.
  • Build a forward-looking pipeline of new projects and product placements detailing revenue, probability, and expected close dates through CRM (Salesforce).
  • Create customer and product level forecasts leveraging historical sales and market trends.


Qualifications:

  • Strong phone presence.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, interpersonal and listening skills.
  • PC literate, experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP software, Online Ordering, Salesforce or other CRM software.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong work ethic with a passion to succeed.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently. The Sales Representative will work primarily from office, with regular travel to meet with clients and partners to achieve sales.
