Program Manager

Candidates must be residents of DC, MD, or VA.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Management and oversight of all contract personnel activities, including subcontractors/teaming partners.
- Full authority to make decisions to provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership for the contract.
Required Education & Experience:
Education:
- B.S. or BA Degree or four years of related experience may be substituted for the education degree requirement established for this key personnel function.
- Project Management Professional (PM)®, MBA or equivalent preferable
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience with managing IT services and infrastructure programs and projects
- Experience managing IT service management (ITSM), data center operations, and service desk contracts within health, research, or science-based environments is preferred.
- Management of service level agreements and/or performance metrics as key indicators of success for contract performance.
- Maintenance of program schedules and deliverables completed according to Government requirements.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with Government representatives both orally and in writing. Preferred: proven experience working with health and research professionals to ensure IT services align with their scientific missions.
Preferred Certifications:
- ITIL certifications specific to the position
