Design Validation Test Engineer

· OR master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Materials Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years of relevant technical engineering experience

· 5+ years of work experience in managing manufacturing quality in the consumer electronic industry including experience in product quality, reliability, or product engineering.

· Demonstrated experience as natural leader of a cross functional team with strong electromechanical test skills.

· Deep understanding of the physics of failure and root cause analysis.

· Ability to analyze data sets and extract the essence and use the data to make data driven decisions.

· Practical knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, CLCA, SPC, Pareto charts, FMEA, GR&R, FAI, CPK, PPAP etc.

· Use and apply statistics to evaluate product reliability and highlight potential product risks – Six Sigma Greenbelt is a plus
