Role Description
This is a contract mobile specimen collection role for a Mobile Phlebotomist. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for conducting blood draws and specimen collections, ensuring patient comfort and safety and accurate documentation. You will travel to various locations, such as homes, nursing facilities, and healthcare clinics, to perform phlebotomy procedures. You will also be responsible for accurately labeling and transporting specimens for laboratory testing.
Pay
We pay weekly on Fridays for collections done the week prior. Along with pay for specimen collections we also pay mileage at the IRS federal rate.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, or health professional with Demonstrated experience in performing venipuncture and collecting blood specimens
- Excellent knowledge of blood collection procedures and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in labeling and documenting specimens
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
- Flexibility to travel to different locations
- Basic computer skills for electronic recordkeeping
