Head Swim Coach

We are looking for an energetic and passionate head swim coach/head lifeguard for 2025 .

Must have experience coaching competitive swimming and comfortable

 training athletes ages 5-15 with varying ability level. Applicant

 should be able to correct stroke technique, assist in selecting

 intervals, as well as incorporate and demonstrate the core values of

the Y during training sessions. There are some administrative duties

- computer, product ordering and meetings.

Practices run Monday-Friday 8:30 - 10:30 am , must be willing to work additional shifts to cover/assist lifeguard shifts for the pool.

  Additional program from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Ages 10 - 15 Camp of Outdoor Activities. June 15 – August 20 is time frame for the weekly hours.

Should have CPR/First Aid, WSI, Safety Training for Swim Coaches, USA and

 ASCA certifications or willing to obtain them.
