Starting Base Salary After Funding $175,000 per year
This Late-Founding Opportunity could be and opportunity for:
- One Founder with all the skills required ++ in addition to possessing senior-level skills in cross-platform mobile development
- Or a shared Founding Opportunity for 2 dynamic Technical Project Managers with complementing expert skills.
Equity Stake: Late Founding-Member vesting equity stake schedule. Given the expected expertise and potential contributions from the right applicant we'd like to propose the following equity package.
Initial Equity Grant: 4% of the company's equity with a structured equity increase up to 7.5% (shared)
Initial Equity Grant: 4% of the company's equity with a structured equity increase up to 12% (non-shared)
Vesting Schedule: 4-year vesting period with a 1-year cliff
- After the first year (cliff), 25% of your equity will vest
- The remaining 75% will vest monthly over the next 3 years
Performance-Based Equity Bonuses:
- Opportunity to earn additional equity based on achieving key performance milestones
- Mid-equity performance bonuses will be structured and clearly defined
Structured Equity Increase:
- Annual review with potential for equity increases
- Opportunity to grow your stake up to 7.5% over time, based on performance and company growth

SaaS Founders of Logistics App are looking for a Founding-Member to lead the development of a cutting-edge cross-platform mobile app logistics solution. This pivotal role demands a rare combination of a unique blend of technical expertise, deep industry insights and exceptional leadership acumen. As a key strategist, you'll collaborate closely with our lead cross-platform logistics mobile app developer to shape the future of logistics technology or if you possess all the skills needed to shape the future of logistics, including expert skills in cross-platform mobile app development, this might be the opportunity you are looking for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end development of a cross-platform logistics applications with dual UI for iOS and Android
- Manage the integration of third-party driver systems, including CDL drivers in the trucking industry
- Oversee the design and implementation of real-time tracking, route optimization and inventory management features
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the application meets industry-specific requirements and regulations
- Guide the team in implementing best practices for scalability, performance, and security
- Manage project timelines, budgets and resources effectively
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in mobile app development, with a focus on cross-platform technologies (React Native or Flutter)
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex logistics or transportation applications
- Strong understanding of the logistics and trucking industry, including relevant regulations and operational workflows
- Experience with GPS integration, real-time tracking systems, and inventory management solutions
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and project management tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
- knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their application in logistics solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with UI/UX design principles for both iOS and Android platforms
Familiarity with loT devices and their integration on logistics applications
Understanding the data analysis and its application in logistics optimization
Experience with API integration and third-party service management
Essential Skills Required:
- Proficiency in languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, and Swift
- Knowledge of SQL for database management
- Experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter
- Native app development skills for iOS (Swift) and Android (Java/Kotlin)
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for web-based components
- Experience with backend languages like Ruby, Python, or PHP
- Knowledge of RESTful API development
- Proficiency in working with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, HBase, and Cassandra
- Ability to integrate GPS tracking and mapping services (e.g., Google Maps API)
- Understanding of user interface and user experience design principles
- Knowledge of integrating payment systems like PayPal, Stripe, or Braintree
- Familiarity with real-time data processing and analytics tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of best practices in app security and data protection
- Understanding of AI, machine learning, blockchain, and IoT applications in logistics
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes and terminology
- Experience with Agile development practices
- Ability to optimize routes, manage inventory, and solve complex logistical challenges
