Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to provide expert guidance on our client's enterprise's cloud systems architecture. This role involves establishing standards, designing technology solutions, and ensuring the integration of multiple platforms across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure and AWS, and a strong background in cloud architecture and administration.


Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement cloud solutions, including applications, storage, networking, security, and disaster recovery on Azure and AWS.
  • Develop and document integration frameworks and technical standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to project teams and assist in architecture governance.
  • Monitor and manage cloud environments, ensuring security, performance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Deploy and maintain PaaS & SaaS enterprise applications across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
  • Automate cloud environment management through scripting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance, connectivity, and security issues within Azure and AWS environments.



Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in Azure/AWS cloud architecture.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Azure/AWS Administrator and Architect Technologies.
  • Deep technical expertise in Azure/AWS platforms, with a focus on accountability, customer focus, and quality.
  • Strong understanding of virtual networks, DNS zones, and cloud security.
  • Experience in scripting and automation for cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with networking infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN), protocols (TCP/IP), and cryptographic protocols.
  • Experience with formal Change Control Systems and ITIL framework.
