Position Overview:

The Manager of Training is a critical leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs to support the development of qualified mental health providers and other team members. This individual will ensure that training initiatives align with the organization’s mission and values, equipping staff with the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care and services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Program Development:
  • Design, develop, and manage training programs tailored to the needs of mental health providers and other staff.
  • Create and maintain training materials, curriculum, and resources aligned with industry standards.
  • Research and stay updated on best practices and developments within the mental health field to inform training programs.
  • Program Implementation and Delivery:
  • Coordinate and conduct training sessions across the organization’s regions.
  • Organize and facilitate "train the trainer" sessions to ensure consistent delivery of training.
  • Schedule and implement onboarding programs for new hires and continuing education for existing staff.
  • Effectiveness Evaluation:
  • Measure the success of training programs through assessments, quizzes, and feedback from participants.
  • Seek input from employees, management, and other departments to continuously improve training programs.
  • Track information retention and application to ensure training outcomes meet organizational goals.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with leadership and department heads to identify training needs and address areas requiring additional instruction.
  • Develop internal marketing materials to promote training programs and opportunities.
  • Maintain training databases and records for tracking participation and progress.


Preferred Skills:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable way.
  • Knowledge of various teaching methods and best practices for instructional design.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management.
  • Advanced organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • A deep understanding of business goals and standards for customer service.
  • Experience in curriculum development and conducting effective training programs.
