  • Experience with NEMA and CE starters
  • Experience with measurement methods and systems (PT’s, CT’s, encoders, ground fault detection, accelerometers, X/Y position measurements)
  • Electrical maintenance typically used in industrial settings (partial discharge, PI, motor circuit analysis, megger, microamp meter, ductor testing)
  • Strong communication skills with client facing focus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze solidly grounded and high impedance grounded distribution systems to understand electrical characteristics and impacts
  • Interpret industrial electrical distribution system diagrams (one-line and three-line) and assess their design impacts
  • Evaluate low and medium voltage variable frequency drives (VFDs) and soft starter technologies to determine system impacts and performance characteristics
  • Provide insights into motor designs, including induction, wound rotor, and DC variations, and relate them to their operational standards and failure mechanisms
  • Conduct root failure analysis and identify common industrial failure modes and mechanisms
  • Engage with clients to discuss and resolve technical challenges, ensuring client satisfaction and system reliability
  • Interpret electrical maintenance procedures including partial discharge analysis, motor circuit analysis, and other predictive maintenance technologies
