Executive VP of Operations
in Northern Nevada.
The title of the role is fluid and can be offered as Director, Vice President, Executive Vice President, or Chief Operating Officer, depending on the hired candidate's title and responsibility-experience history.
This is an on-site role and not remote.PLEASE NOTE FROM THE CLIENT:
Those with fire-arms industry experience will be given preference.
The client company is profitable at $40 million in revenue and serves an international client base from a 25,000 square foot facility.
The industry is gun manufacturing and the hiring team desires an experienced Operations leader that has a personal passion for the gun industry, and ideally someone who has worked in this industry prior.
This is a highly regulated organization within the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms umbrella and must be perfectly compliant in the realms of operations related to serial numbers, inventory, returns, purchasing and warehouse operations.
A small company of 40 employees, they run lean effectively and it's important to note this is a very hands-one role.
Responsibilities:
One of the first agendas for the new VP of Operations will be reducing inventory and auditing/restructuring within the NetSuite ERP system.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for hire will bring 7+ years' experience in Operational and Finance leadership in the manufacturing-distribution industry
relative to products that are 'serial numbered' such as in the medical device industry or pharmaceutical or other highly regulated product operation, by example.
Northern Nevada local candidates are also preferred, although some relocation benefits/moving expenses may be offered for a non-local ideal candidate chosen for hire.
Some travel is required and will be discussed during the interview process.Culture Fit:
Reporting to a tenured, industry expert CEO and from a culture fit standpoint relative to the CEO and owners, the ideal candidate for this role will have a inclusive team leadership style, be hands-on, a good listener, proactive and forthcoming with communication, professional and known for honestly/integrity.
Compensation:
The hiring salary budgeted for this role is $175K - $200K, target $185K annually, to include a very robust bonus program up to 50% of salary based on KPI metrics and personal performance.
