As an Operations Support Specialist, you will provide a variety of essential services, like assisting management with administering policies and procedures, and providing guidance, instruction, and inspection for workplace safety and emergency management operations.

Responsibilities The responsibilities described are for the full performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity. Serve as Emergency Management and Safety coordinator to oversee workplace safety and emergency management operations and contingency plans. Plan and coordinate a variety of emergency management exercises and analyze and report findings in after-action reports. Organize and deliver briefings to managers to promote understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of complex management support and administrative systems, programs and processes. Completes Collateral Duty Safety Officer, and Emergency Management Coordinator training. Utilize critical thinking skills to resolve or prevent operational, safety and emergency issues/situations.
