Our growing HVAC company needs a service tech to meet clients at their home or place of business to troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix HVAC equipment. Strong interpersonal skills are a must in this dynamic role. You have the technical skills to identify HVAC problems, and the communication skills to explain what needs to be repaired, installed, or replaced, and why. $20 - $40 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Locate and correct HVAC problems, including component installation and replacement
  • Interpret and apply electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
  • Carry out customer warranty services and preventative maintenance plans
  • Enter completed projects and the parts used into the database
  • Execute maintenance and installation of HVAC equipment for homes and offices
  • Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner, treating all residents with courtesy and respect
  • Accurately diagnose problems and make repairs when responding to all service requests assigned
  • Perform the maintenance needed and/or replacements of units, ductwork, etc.
  • Help to replace HVAC units as necessary
  • Be able to communicate effectively with staff and customers
  • Be prompt and diligent in tasks performed
Qualifications:
  • Applicant must have required local and state HVAC tech licenses
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs or 100 lbs with help
  • Must have EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, and an exceptional problem-solver
  • You must have experience in service, diagnosing, repairs, and replacements of HVAC units
  • Communication skills are a must
  • A friendly and positive attitude is a must
  • Must be dependable and honest
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening
  • Must have an active driver's license in good standing
