What does our Accounting Assistant do?

This role performs a variety of routine and non-routine accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

  • Posts daily cash receipts accurately to customer accounts
  • Processes vendor invoices into the accounts payable system
  • Assists the Accounting Manager with special projects
  • Maintains accounting policies and procedures
  • Assists in meeting all deadlines for month-end close
What do you need?

  • High School Diploma, proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Excel
  • 1+ years of work-related experience
  • Personal time management and organization skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Detail-oriented, highly motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Must pass pre-employment background screen
