Financial Analysis Manager

The Finance Manager II is part of the Food & Beverage North America Accounting & Control organization. This is a key role responsible for leading and coordinating the month-end close process and serving as a finance partner to our Engineering team. The role also serves as the primary division liaison to internal audit, the SOX PMO, and our external audit partners. Reporting to this position is one financial analyst to support accounting / close, day to day engineering activities, and project work.
What You Will Do:
Manage month-end close activities including preparation and review of manual journal entries, fixed asset management (capitalizations/disposals), P&L/BS variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations. Meet all corporate close and consolidation deadlines and communicate to the FP&A team, material, or non-standard impacts to the P&L. Serve as primary division liaison for SOX PMO, internal audit, and PWC. Own SOX controls and audit testing. Ensure controls are documented on a timely basis, facilitate testing, and communicate results to management. Support the Engineering business unit including monthly forecasting, P&L reporting to leadership, and project accounting activities. Drive process improvements, implement controls and governance to better manage costs, enhance understanding, visibility, and profitability in the engineering space. Maintain the division's equipment database and capitalization policy utilized for equipment on loan inventory. Serve as primary reviewer for DRA (discounts, rebates, and allowances). Lead CAPEX plan, forecast and reporting for all non-software related capital expenditures and recommend improvements to the overall CAR process. Prepare and coordinate review of quarterly and annual submissions to Corporate Accounting (Balance sheet flux and A&C questionnaire). Lead annual accounting responsibilities of refreshing revenue recognition rates, verifying and truing up consignment inventory, fixed asset verification, analyzing credit/return reserve and CECL rates. Support ad hoc requests from Tax, CAF, FP&A, Engineering, Shared Services, Sales, Marketing and other divisional requests. Act as accounting subject matter expert for F&B Division including accounting best practices, manual journal entries, account reconciliations, SAP navigation/capabilities, general ledger coding, and GBS BA and Engineering processes. Teach, coach, and develop senior financial analyst and broader team as applicable.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 7 years of Accounting and/or Finance experience No immigration sponsorship available for this rolePreferred Qualifications:
