Engineering Project Administrator

This is an entry level position for and individual who is looking to grow to within the company. This person should be highly organized, self-motivated, and enjoy learning. The expectation is for the person in this position to learn the business from the ground up and move up to another opportunity within the company in 2-3 years.
This position performs administrative tasks associated with the Engineering team, including Sales Engineering. This position will manage information related to Sales Quotes and Sales Orders. The individual will use several software programs including Salesforce, Mission Control, and two ERP systems. This person should be very comfortable using software, performing data entry, and interacting with people.
This position includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
Essential Functions
· Sales Opportunities with Salesforce.
o Enter new opportunities in the Salesforce program as provided by the sales team.
o Create and manage tasks within Salesforce for Sales Engineers to complete.
o Run reports from Salesforce to review with the Engineering team.
o Manage information within Salesforce as needed.
· Manage the Mission Control project management program
o Use Mission Control to enter and track Sales orders through the various stages of manufacturing.
o Update each project regularly
o Run reports to view the status of projects with the team.
· Sales Order entry
o Key in new orders to the Guardian MRP program.
o Key in warranty line items as necessary.
o Look up orders and run reports as necessary
o Key in Bill of Materials as they are generated by the Engineering team.
· Cross-functional Collaboration
o Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the sales / manufacturing process.
o Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency.
o Work with manufacturing to adhere to the production schedule.
Qualifications
Education
· High School diploma
· Secondary education is a plus but not required.
Experience
· Experience learning and working in software programs
Additional Skills
· Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills.
· Must be self-motivated and able to work as a member of a team.
· Be highly organized and be able to manage large volumes of information.
· Being Mechanically inclined is beneficial for many opportunities in the company
Physical Requirements
The Engineering Project Coordinator will be required to do general office tasks, sit for an hour or more, speak, hear, stand, walk, balance, lift, carry, stoop, squat, bend, and/or kneel.
