10x Genomics is seeking a contractor/temporary Facilities and EH&S Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth functioning of our facilities, providing support for environmental health and safety initiatives, and assisting in various projects related to material handling, relocation, and facility management.


Key Responsibilities:

Facilities Support:
Support day-to-day facilities operations, including maintenance, repairs, and vendor management.

Manage facility supplies and inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely procurement.

Assist in space planning and utilization to optimize the efficiency of the workplace environment.

Material Handling and Relocation:
Coordinate the movement and relocation of equipment, furniture, and materials within the facility.

Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory

Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S):

Collaborate and execute on EH&S programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

In partnership with the EH&S team, conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Support EH&S initiatives that include waste management, hazardous material handling and emergency response

Project Support:
Provide administrative and logistical support for facility and EH&S-related projects

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Environmental Health and Safety, or related field and/or equivalent work experience

3+ years of experience in facilities management and environmental health and safety.

Knowledge of EHS regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and local requirements.

Experience in material handling, including the handling of hazardous materials.

Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software.

Below is the base pay range for this full time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one's skills, qualifications, and experience. At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company's total compensation package.

This role is also eligible for 10x's equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.
