The primary responsibilities for this Patient Services Manager role are to manage the front-end staff of our client's Gainesville location.

This will include personnel focused on administrative tasks, patient services, switchboard operations, and patient experience.


SCOPE OF WORKOversee all patient services, front office administration and switchboard operations personnel and ensure a high level of customer service is provided to all patients, team members, and other personnel within the clinic.

Safeguard and protect patient's right to privacy as regulated under HIPAA regulations and ensures only authorized individuals have access to patient's medical information.

In tandem with the Director, develop educational programs, job aids, and training sessions for practice staff relating to customer service and patient satisfaction.

Coordinate department workflows and investigate identified issues.

Perform annual reviews of staff, providing required trainings and acting as subject matter expert resource to staff on all policy, system, and operational processes.

Perform monthly data validation to ensure accuracy of generated reports. Reports may include logs of monthly call volumes and scheduling metrics. Present all departmental operations reports to clinic Director to evaluate areas of success and places for opportunity.

Coordinate all department meetings and monitor attendanceCreate and maintain staffing schedulesDevelops communication tools (newsletters, articles, visual aids, etc.) for communication with providers to enhance compliance with varying internal initiatives.

Participate in care review patient centered programCoordinates improvement activity and case/chart review in compliance with departmental guidelinesAbility to work overtime on an occasional or as needed basis

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILEBachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related discipline3+ years of work experience in a patient services or patient access roleKnowledge of HIPAA and government regulations regarding confidentialitySkillsets required include, but are not limited to; professionalism, respectful and effective communication, attentiveness, taking ownership and accountability for actions and behaviors, demonstration of care and compassion for others, commitment to coworkers/team playerAbility to work on-site in Gainesville, GA
