How you'll contribute

  • Travels to assigned unit.
  • Answers the phones.
  • Schedules appointments.
  • Greets and guide patients and visitors
  • Obtain and confirm patient demographics; updates patient profile
  • Collect payment and/or assist patient with minor billing concerns
  • Scan pertinent information into EMR system (HIPAA compliance, authorizations, medical records, etc.)
  • Answers nonmedical inquiries
  • At the end of the month, this person will assist the billing team
  • Special projects as needed

Who you are

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year office experience
  • Billing and Coding experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Deadline and detail oriented
  • Ability to multitask in a highvolume and highstress atmosphere
  • Ability to communicate and work efficiently with patients, coworkers, and providers
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • EMR experience a plus
  • OB/GYN or medical office experience a plus
