The Irrigation Technician II role involves servicing and maintaining PARD's golf course irrigation systems across the city. Responsibilities include programming, operating, maintaining, and repairing the grounds' irrigation and drainage system, along with supporting golf course maintenance activities.

  • Operating digging equipment and grounds keeping tools.
  • Programming and monitoring irrigation computer systems.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing control systems.

Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities:

  • Operating metal detectors and equipment.
  • Digging trenches and laying irrigation pipes.
  • Reading blueprints and adjusting sprinkler systems.
  • Recording data and ordering supplies.

  • None.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of irrigation systems and construction tools.
  • Understanding of safety practices and regulations.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work from drawings and establish good relationships.
