Justworks seeks a strategic leader with extensive experience in learning and development for the role of Senior Manager, Leadership & People Development. In this position, you will be crucial in enhancing our leadership and people development initiatives across the organization. Your responsibilities will include thoroughly evaluating organizational and departmental learning requirements, collaborating closely with business units to identify and resolve areas needing support for employees, managers, and the organization as a whole to maximize their potential.

The Senior Manager, Leadership & People Development will directly report to the Director, Learning and Organizational Development.

Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On

  • Design and implement effective learning and development programs covering the entire employee lifecycle to support our strategic objectives.
  • Create leadership development programs aligned with Justworks' Leadership Expectations/Behaviors.
  • Identify and oversee the requirement for external expertise to determine appropriate course content and delivery methods.
  • Transform instructional concepts into innovative, branded, interactive learning solutions for various applications.
  • Oversee JustManage online courses, BetterUp, and LinkedIn Learning partnerships.
  • Implement a new Learning Management System (LMS) in collaboration with Revenue Enablement and People teams.
  • Establish a centralized mentorship program applicable throughout the business.
  • Consistently assess and measure the effectiveness of learning and development programs.
  • Manage a team to execute learning and development initiatives, with potential for team expansion as needed.
  • Support additional talent development processes such as career progression, succession planning, and talent reviews.
  • Perform other duties as required by departmental and organizational needs, including maintaining training information and records.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 9 years experience in learning and development, with exposure to high-growth or technical environments.
  • Minimum of 7 years in developing leadership curriculum at various levels.
  • Experience in creating leadership and people development programs.
  • Experience in designing and implementing a Learning Management System (LMS) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellence in developing programs for managers and individual contributors.
  • Intellectual curiosity, a growth mindset, and the drive for continuous improvement.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a strong stance against racism.
