Job Description:
Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a world-renowned academic research institute of Louisiana State University, is seeking a Research Project Assistant in the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory.
- Processing biological specimens for testing.
- Maintenance of Clinical Chemistry Core (CCC) and PBRC Biorepository programs.
- Management of central laboratory processes associated with clinical trials.
- Development of laboratory processes and documents for assigned clinical trials.
- Field support of clinical trials conducted in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Defense.
- General laboratory maintenance and quality control.
- Bachelor's degree in a science related field.
- Phlebotomy experience preferred.
