The Inpatient Float Pharmacist role at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center involves overseeing medication management operations, clinical services, and other assigned tasks on a full-time basis. This position entails 10-hour shifts on rotating days/evenings and weekends.

QualificationsEducational Requirements:
  • Pharm.D. or equivalent degree from a US-accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency or equivalent practical experience.
License/Certification/Registration Requirements:
  • Active pharmacist licensure in California.
  • BLS certification in C.P.R. and Code Blue Procedures.
Additional Expectations
  • Thorough understanding of medical terminology and common diseases.
  • Proficiency in applying pharmacological principles in clinical settings.
  • Strong communication and teaching skills.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Adaptability and ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Proficiency in using computer systems for daily tasks.
  • Approval needed for exceptions.
