Community Supports Program Coordinator

in Lancaster, Ohio.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT/

SUPERVISION:


Oversee day to day operations and administrative supervision of Community Support Department and the programs within this department; determine needs of clients and/or staff and work with Team leaders to meet those needs; assist in developing and implementing the agency's strategic plan and support the mission of the agency; staff training in clinical and EMR skills; monitoring of agency standards as related to medical records compliance and employee productivity; participate in the recruitment, hiring, evaluation, and disciplinary process of clinic staff; work with program coordinators and other site supervisors toward integration of interagency services; ensuring scheduling provides adequate coverage for the services.


Additional duties include agency training on HIPAA and related issues; ensuring client's rights and concerns are addressed; serving as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Collaborate and maintain regular communication to include meeting attendance as necessary with other agencies, funding sources, and accrediting organizations.

DIRECT SERVICE:


Provide individual and/or group services as needed to be familiar with the clients served and assist the staff in the department.

Daytime travel required.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in mental health or closely related field required, Master's degree preferred. Ohio clinical licensure required (LSW/LISW/LPC/LPCC).

Experience in Case management, working with SPMI diagnosed persons, supervision and management, working with quality assurance, developing trainings, and familiarity with Fidelity standards and CARF or other accreditation organizations preferred.

Excellent Communication and organizational skills, ability to work with diverse population, and the capacity for both independent functioning as well as collaborating on team-based projects.

Computer literacy skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) are required, as are excellent written communication, spoken communication, presentation and public speaking skills.
