About the Payroll Specialist:

  • Responsible for managing U.S. weekly and biweekly payroll operations
  • Handles end-to-end payroll tasks, including off-cycle payrolls, ensuring precise calculation of employee earnings, deductions, and compliance with tax and legal requirements
  • Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, deductions, and other pay adjustments
  • Ensures adherence to policies, regulations, and tax laws impacting payroll
  • Works closely with HR, benefits, HRIS, and accounting teams for accurate payroll data
  • Assists in processing special payrolls, bonuses, and year-end adjustments
  • Prepares manual checks for relocation and performs payroll audits
  • Assists with year-end W2 processing and audits 401k
  • Handles final payout for terminated employees and collaborates with Finance for month-end payroll activities

Requirements:

  • Prefer FPC or CPP Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years similar work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • Knowledge of v-lookups and pivot tables
  • Proficient in payroll software such as Workday, ADP Smart Compliance
  • Experience with international payroll, HR, or HRIS is a plus
  • Familiarity with ESPP, RSU, and Deferred compensation
  • Strong understanding of tax laws and payroll calculations
  • Hands-on experience in multi-state Payroll
