Looking for a Lead FPGA Design Engineer with expertise in Electronic Warfare for a top company in the Defense sector in Salt Lake City, Utah
Get involved in thrilling engineering projects
Skilled FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) lead design engineer with industry knowledge in advanced signal processing methods and/or Electronic Warfare techniques such as Electronic Support and Electronic Attack.
Key areas of technical expertise or education expected include:
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and at least 9 years of relevant experience. Master's Degree and a minimum of 7 years of related experience. If no degree, at least 13 years of similar software engineering experience.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's (Master's preferred) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
9+ years of FPGA design experience in Digital Signal Processing projects.
Experience overseeing technical staff in intricate FPGA design
Proficient in either VHDL (preferred) or Verilog hardware development languages.
Experience in implementing signal processing for Electronic Support.
Experience in implementing signal processing for Electronic Attack.
Experience in developing complex Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms in FPGA devices. Similar experience with ASIC devices is also relevant.
FPGA Design utilizing High-speed serial interfaces (3+ Gbps)
Familiarity with code version control tools like Git/Clearcase.
Familiarity with C/C++/C# and Matlab/Simulink.
