About the Job:
The RN Quality Coordinator role at HOLSTON VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER involves overseeing quality standards within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a support for department leaders in quality assessment and improvement activities.
- Deliver training to clinical and medical staff on essential quality measures.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Execute special studies, including designing data collection tools and presenting findings.
- Provide feedback to clinical staff on performance against set measures.
- Collaborate with case management and other support departments to ensure compliance with standards.
- Review department scorecards for compliance and prioritize improvement efforts.
- Contribute to the development of annual quality operational plans.
- Cultivate positive relationships with key stakeholders within the facility.
- Participate in department and leadership meetings when required.
- May oversee LPN concurrent reviewers.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, a minimum of three years of clinical experience is required. Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines are necessary. Proficiency in MS Office tools, clinical chart review, and data entry is essential. Knowledge of statistics, quality improvement, and patient safety is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with a minimum of an associate's degree in a healthcare-related field. RN licensure is mandatory.
