SAIC is currently seeking a Digital Engineering Systems Integrator to join the team in supporting a customer within the Intelligence Community in Chantilly, VA.

This role offers the opportunity to work on designing, building, and operating national security systems in various domains, including space, air, and ground.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead flow-down of requirements from higher-level documents.
  • Support specification development and test planning activities.
  • Coordinate segment specification sell-off and other verification activities.
  • Manage and integrate specification changes into the baseline.
  • Transition specification management activities into an MBSE framework.
  • Utilize software tools like DOORs and Cameo for analysis and automation tasks.
  • Develop model queries to enable effective use of results.
  • Plan and execute design reviews using MBSE.
  • Identify and assess impacts of new capabilities.
  • Support system-level testing for verification and validation.
  • Evaluate risks and proposed burn-down plans.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of contractor proposals.
  • Liaise with mission analysis and acquisition teams.
  • Develop relationships with counterparts and subject matter experts.
  • Advise and mentor customer personnel on architecture and verification.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience (Master's with 7+ years, PhD or JD with 4+ years).
  • Experience in STEM disciplines preferred.
  • Proficiency in SysML and UAF.
  • Experience with modeling tools like Cameo and DOORs.
  • Knowledge of DOD/IC acquisition processes.
  • Understanding of satellite systems and architectures.
  • Willingness to travel domestically.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in STEM or related field with MBSE focus.
  • Interest in learning coding languages as needed.
  • Prior software development experience.
  • Experience in technical specifications for space systems.
