This position will directly report to the Assembly Manager and will be tasked with overseeing and guiding employees in the assembly area to enhance safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and efficiency by optimizing machines, processes, and personnel.

Supervise the activities of the assigned work group in a secure manner and promptly address concerns or issues.



In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Ensuring daily productivity, efficiency, organization, and quality in work areas.
- Conducting Daily Gemba Walks to enhance safety, quality, and service in the designated areas.
- Effective communication with manufacturing engineers, maintenance, and all plant employees on departmental challenges.
- Hosting monthly department meetings covering safety, ergonomics, assembly training, and regulatory compliance.
- Managing employee performance to uphold departmental standards in efficiency, productivity, and accountability.
- Providing training and support to all assigned personnel.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and halting work if it poses a risk.
- Maintaining area upkeep according to 5S standard work processes.
- Undertaking other tasks assigned by the manager.

Who You Are:
You are adept at engaging with individuals across various levels, functions, cultures, and locations. You excel at organizing work activities into efficient workflows and possess strong decision-making skills as an Assembly Supervisor.
For This Role, You Will Require:
- Associates Degree in Business or a related field with three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or a High School Diploma or equivalent with five (5) years of manufacturing experience required.
- Proficiency in handling safety regulations enforcement and ensuring a secure work environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing assembly equipment and the ability to troubleshoot using root cause analysis.
- Strong mechanical skills and experience in troubleshooting with root cause analysis.
- Capability to manage challenging conversations regarding employee performance and conduct.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Strong leadership qualities, empowering abilities, excellent communication skills, and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications that Distinguish You:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
- Supervisory experience is desirable.
- Preferably experienced with Oracle or Kronos and internal/external audits.
- Familiarity with electrical components, pneumatic equipment, hand-operated tools, and powered assembly tools.

Physical Demand:
While performing duties, standing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 40 pounds may be required throughout a shift.
Working Environment:
Exposed to manufacturing plant conditions including noise, dust, dirt, oil, and grease. Protective equipment will be necessary, such as safety glasses and/or safety shoes. Overtime work up to 60 hours per week may be expected.
