About the Role:
The Oracle Fusion Reporting System Analyst is a key liaison between financial stakeholders and IT report developers. Working closely with Finance Subject Matter Experts in I2C and P2P domains, the main focus is on utilizing Oracle Fusion BICC / BIP reports to fulfill reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and Analyze Requirements:
  • Document finance-related business requirements in Oracle Fusion.
  • Identify unique scenarios from current report designs to enhance understanding, asking targeted questions for comprehensive needs assessment.
  • Create reporting mock-ups or prototypes using Excel.
  • Align data requirements with Oracle Fusion tables/fields.
Ensure Testing and Quality:
  • Lead report unit testing to confirm alignment with business requirements.
  • Define testing scope and plans based on data variants and business workflows.
  • Perform high-level testing to validate that the development meets specified business requirements.
  • Adhere to change request procedures.
Facilitate Collaboration and Communication:
  • Engage with IT report developers to convey requirements effectively.
  • Collaborate with business SMEs to address inquiries, validate issues, and capture additional requirements emerging during testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated background as a System Analyst or Reporting Analyst.
  • Profound comprehension of finance processes such as Invoice to Cash and Procure to Pay.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion data model, reporting tools, and relevant technologies.
  • Strong communication skills and adeptness in collaborative environments.
