Description:
  • Provide subject matter expertise in joint logistics and sustainment for Navy Operational-Level Exercise support at Navy Warfare Development Center (NWDC), Norfolk, VA.
  • Support Maritime Operations Center (MOC) exercise events at Fleet Headquarters with logistics planning and coordination expertise.
  • Required experience in joint strategic and operational level logistics, Navy operational experience, and joint command and staff experience.
  • Assist in exercise concept development, planning, modeling, simulation, scenario development, and event response.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with MOC Training and Exercise Team for planning and execution.
  • Work with Navy and Joint planners for event coordination.
  • Facilitate logistics support estimates and sustainment concepts.
  • Research and provide knowledge on logistics capabilities and sustainment protection.
  • Develop exercise documents and provide synthetic war-gaming as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science.
  • Minimum 5 years of staff experience in logistics/sustainment positions.
  • 5 years of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) experience in exercise development.

Desired Experience:
  • Experience in logistics support concept development.
  • Knowledge of Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS) or Joint Training Tool (JTT).

Clearance:
Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI; U.S. citizenship required.

SAIC does not mandate COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Compliance with customer site vaccination requirements is necessary when working on-site.
