Job Summary and QualificationsThis position is responsible for expert knowledge of all Cat Scan exams and procedures with emphasis on leadership qualities, by supporting the Cat Scan supervisor position. Employee is sought out by others for advice, training, and clarification of job related knowledge. Effectively communicates, coordinates, delegates, and assigns the daily activities of the Cat Scan department. Facilitates, organizes, and reviews the daily workflow to deliver maximal throughput of all Cat Scan exams and procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Prioritizes, motivates, and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of Swedish Medical Center. Ensures facility technical and documentation expectations are consistent with TJC regulations and HealthONE/HCA standards. Positively demonstrates concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees. Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills for daily activity and patient flow of the Cat Scan department and assumes accountability for personal and team contributions.
- Employee must have solid to expert knowledge of all Cat Scan exams and procedures. Have dependable leadership and teamwork skills, especially during stressful times in stressful environments.
- Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification REQUIRED and CE compliant.
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC
- Graduate of 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology - Certified by ARRT.
- Two years Cat Scan experience required.
- Employee must have solid to expert knowledge of all CatScan exams and procedures. Have dependable leadership and teamwork skills, especially during stressful times in stressful environments.
