Job DescriptionJob Description

We are hiring for one of our clients who is seeking a Document Control Specialist located in the Lemont/Romeoville area.

Primary Duties:

  • Create an EWR (Extra Work Request) log for each unit involved in the upcoming turnaround. As EWRs are received they are logged in and assigned an EWR number. After planning of the packages, they are circulated for approval signatures and updated on the EWR log. Final package is shared on SharePoint.
  • Distribute packages to operations, QA/ QC, Field Supervisors, & Contractors.
  • Print out all plot plans on KIP or Canon Plotter for units within the turnaround.
  • Confined Space Book- Create binder with cover and dividers.
  • Ventilation Plans- print and place in binders.
  • Safety Data Sheet- gather information from Prism for each SDS.
  • TA Execution Plan- Print out each section and file in binder.
  • Attend turnaround meetings to have current EWRs approved.

Requirements:

  • Ability to undergo drug test and background
  • Active Illinois Driver License
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC card
  • Safety Classes pertaining to work site
  • Proficient in Word, Outlook, Data Entry, Excel spreadsheets, SharePoint
  • Prepare and process project documentation.
  • Meticulous and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to efficiently achieve high quality results is required
  • Strong Work Ethic
  • Other Functions as assigned

Pay Range: Depending on experience starts at $20
