has an exciting opportunity for a Force Protection Policy Analyst.

The Force Protection Policy Analyst will support the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), Navy Security Force (N34) in executing the CNIC Force Protection Program.

This will include analyzing, assessing and making recommendations to CNIC N34.

This will be broken up into two areas:
Gap analysis and analysis of linkages between installation performance during assessments and exercises vs during real world events.

Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk, Virginia

Job Description:
Gather and analyze data for identifying options and providing recommendations.
Analyze cost data to produce cost-efficiency comparisons, lifecycle costing, and measure performance against cost data.
Analyze Personnel and Training Pillars of Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) algorithms for Mission Essential Tasks (METS).
Examine readiness criteria and results in relationship to activities and missions in the Installation domain.
Study and review Personnel and Training Readiness and make strategic planning recommendations to leadership.
Identify issues and deficiencies and develop cost-effective courses of action (COAs).
Leverage industry-best business practices, technical expertise, and tools.
Analyze, identify, develop, and provide efficiency recommendations.
Revise and Implement Command policies, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and make process improvement recommendations.
Stay up-to-date on the latest Force Protection doctrine, tactics, techniques and procedures.

Conduct research through:
Identifying critical mission facilities.
Analyzing operational mission assurance requirements.
Analyzing internal and external region and installations assessments.
Analyzing and developing critical nodes to meet organizational resilience requirements.

Identify the gaps between "as is" and "should be" based on analysis of doctrine and policy

This will include:
Assessing the shortfalls, gaps, and redundancies with recommendations for changes to germane documents.

Identifying the impact of policy and doctrine products on installation protection should they be beyond the ability of CNIC or the Navy to revise.

Delivering a document library composed of all relevant documents and analysis to provide CNIC functional owners a single source for future reference.

Develop integrated COAs for addressing identified gaps, shortfalls, and redundancies in doctrine, policy, and plans impacting the Protection Program.

Using analytical data, highlight how the CNIC enterprise complies with higher echelon policy and the impacts of that policy on base operating support.


Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen and will be required to obtain a

DOD SECRET Clearance .
Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience in a Business or Technical Field.

Possess knowledge of Navy Force Protection, consisting of Antiterrorism, Law Enforcement and Physical Security Program requirements, concepts, methodology and training to ensure the identification and promulgation of an effective program for force protection administrative support of the N34 mission.

Have extensive knowledge and experience with all Microsoft word processing programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Have experience in gap analysis.
Have experience in data collection, analysis, and course of action (COA) development.
