Front Desk Agent

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Welcome guests at arrival and assist them as needed throughout their stay as a friendly and informative Front Desk Agent
- Complete all checkin and checkout tasks
- Manage thirdparty, Choice Hotel, and event related reservations
- Accommodate guest requests
- Address and resolve issues at hotel
- Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and in ready status to accommodate guests' needs
- Review and assist with group reservations and arrange services for VIP customers and event attendees
- Upsell guest rooms, Choice Privileges membership, a la carte items, and amenities when appropriate (Parlour, Gatherings, CityBru, CitySen Lounge, Romance Package, and Beer Package)
- Maintain a neat and tidy front desk all while striving to offer creative ideas that may improve efficiency, organization, and overall experience for employees and guests
- Assist guests as a concierge for the Downtown Grand Rapids area
- CityBru:Assist guests at cash register with Micros POS, create signature lattes, follow food safety rules, daily cash log, restock, and inventory.
Hours (Part-Time: 3-4 shifts per week):
- 1st Shift: 7am3pm
- Mid Shift (Occupancy above 70%): 11am7pm or 1pm9pm
- 2nd Shift: 3pm11pm
