JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst with experience in treasury functions to join our finance team. The FP&A Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making processes across the organization, while also supporting treasury operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and experience managing cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk.

This will be an in-person hybrid location. This position will report to our Houston location some days, and our Prairie View location on others.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain financial models, Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities that align with company goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in treasury functions, including cash management, liquidity planning, debt financing. Monitor cash flow forecasts, analyze variances, and recommend strategies to optimize cash positions and enhance liquidity management.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analyses, including treasury-related metrics and KPIs, to provide insights into treasury performance.
  • Support decision-making processes by providing accurate and timely financial analysis, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis to evaluate business opportunities and risks.
  • Establish data validation and quality control procedures to monitor the accuracy and completeness of financial master data, identifying and resolving discrepancies and inconsistencies.
  • Present financial findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Continuously improve financial systems, processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 0 - 3 years of experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury management, or related fields.
  • Understanding or experience in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial analysis.
  • Experience managing cash flow, liquidity, debt financing, investments, and financial risk.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM system of MS Dynamics and Adaptive Planning is highly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial planning software; experience with treasury management systems (TMS) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or seeking professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.

SPECIAL DEMANDS

  • This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc. Noise level is typically low. Frequently in a stationary, sitting position for prolonged periods of time. Regularly moves about inside the office to complete tasks, attend meetings or to access the copy machine or file cabinets. Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the office. Occasionally may lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
