Job Summary:
As a TPM, you will be a critical member of the team where you will assess incoming requests, triage, plan the workflow, and manage projects from beginning to end. You will put in place an intake process for new requests, work with the department manager and requestors to determine prioritization, and manage the execution of plans through assigning tasks, tracking, communicating, and reporting to management.
Role:

  • Manage the execution of plans through assigning tasks, tracking, communicating, and reporting to management.
  • Lead the effort in organizing and managing the 'systems' for part and project tracking.
  • Coordinate all Projects timelines.
  • Coordinate outsourcing of parts and services for builds when necessary.
  • Recommend processes to improve quality of work and efficiency.
  • Manage deadlines with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Utilize understanding of production, prototyping, and fabrication process and the time, cost, and quality tradeoffs to support the function and growth of the team.
  • Manage vendor onboarding and Pos.
  • Report project status to leadership.


Skills:

  1. Hardware development project management experience in the last 5 years, working with cross-functional teams.
  2. Understanding of requirement, development, prototyping, and fabrication process/phases, and the schedule, cost, and quality tradeoffs
  3. Open mindset and eager attitude to solve problems.
  4. Ability to learn, think creatively, solve problems, and work smart.
  5. 8-10 years' experience
  6. At least a bachelor's degree
  7. Good presentation skills
  8. Vendor onboarding and creating purchase orders.
  9. Knowledgeable in use of task systems.
  10. Budget planning experience.
  11. PMI or PMP Qualifications.


Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.


Other Requirements:

  • Project management experience
  • Certified Project Management preferred.
  • Highly organized and flexible to changing scope and project priority changed.
  • Demonstrable experience in a prior role of similar work scope and environment
  • Knowledgeable in use of task systems
  • Understanding of production, prototyping, and fabrication process and the time, cost, and quality tradeoffs
  • Needs to be flexible to working hour and daily project changes.
  • Ability to learn, think creatively, solve problems, and work smart.

For this Washington-State-based role, the base salary hiring range for this position is $55 to $70/hr. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
