The HR Business Partner plays a key role in overseeing various human resources activities within the company. They are responsible for managing HR programs and policies, employee relations, recruitment, benefits, and more for an assigned business unit.

  • Administers all HR aspects for the assigned business unit
  • Manages a HR Generalist
  • Aligns local HR efforts with corporate HR's strategic plan
  • Recruits, interviews, and selects employees for open positions
  • Onboards new employees and facilitates Open Enrollment
  • Administers leave of absences and performance management processes
  • Responds to employee inquiries, resolves concerns, and investigates policy violations
  • Participates in legal inquiries and keeps HR policies compliant
  • Facilitates various training sessions for employees
  • Analyses turnover statistics and conducts exit interviews
  • Performs other HR duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Administration, HR, or related field preferred
  • HR Certification preferred

Experience

  • At least 5 years of HR experience
  • Prior experience in managing HR staff

Knowledge/Skills

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent customer service
  • Problem-solving abilities and accuracy
  • Good interpersonal and team collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and knowledge of ADP

Physical / Mental Requirements

  • Work in an office setting
