CDT Security Control Assessor SME Position

Overview: CDT is seeking a skilled Security Control Assessor Subject Matter Expert to provide support to a government client based in Chantilly, VA.

Clearance: An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is mandatory. Candidates lacking these clearance prerequisites will not be considered.

Qualifications:
  • Must hold a Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of professional experience or an equivalent qualification; Alternatively, an Associates Degree, High School Diploma/GED with 15 years of work experience or an equivalent combination.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and monitor systems or programs involved in the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process.
  • Prior experience in formulating and implementing security-related regulations and directives for Information Assurance, Information Technology, and Information Management.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with a diverse team to ensure effective knowledge transfer and skill enhancement.
  • Adept at managing multiple large-scale systems or programs simultaneously within the A&A process.
  • Thorough understanding of information technology systems, software, and networks from a technical perspective.
  • Strong technical writing skills for reports and general correspondence.
Travel:
  • Expectation of approximately 25% travel as per program requirements.
