Our client is actively seeking a talented Change Management Consultant II located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12-month contract opportunity.

This position is a hybrid opportunity for 2-3 days in the office.

Overview

Looking for someone who can partner with program/project managers and be the functional change management expert and training liaison. Needing individuals comfortable in fast-paced, innovative environments. Work may involve gap analysis, meeting facilitation, road-mapping, and supporting change across teams. Can serve as a coach for Senior Leaders in helping them fulfill the role of a Change Sponsor.

Job Responsibilities

Applies all aspects of change management using consistent change management methodologies and practices including but not limited to: stakeholder analysis, impact assessment, communications planning and curation, sponsorship planning, resistance management, implementation planning, risk assessment, training requirements analysis, and overall integration with other project activities
Multi-task oriented and required to perform routine change management consultations for projects, processes, and change initiatives while being willing to adapt and change as business needs change
Capacity to manage an assigned change portfolio independently and own allocations
The role requires proficiency and comfort with Microsoft Office 365 and other Microsoft products, specifically Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as group presentation skills
Strong leadership qualities such as negotiation, conflict management, and influencing skills
Ability to support training plans and workshops as a project liaison and change expert; experience with managing training content, logistics, facilitation desired
Candidate should also be experienced in working with Agile and traditional development environments
Should be comfortable talking and engaging with Senior Leaders as well as workforce out in the field
Ability to work independently and act as a self-starter who is also safety conscious, reliable, and trustworthy
Collaborates and networks with others to fully understand the business impacts and engage with stakeholders appropriately and professionally
Team player who understands the value and benefits of a Change Manager and willing to socialize those with the business and leadership
Maintains clear and consistent change communications by adhering to department policies, procedures, and styles for consistent look and tone; familiarity with AP style is a plus
A baseline level of Prosci (ADKAR) knowledge is expected

Requirements

5 years of relevant experience; 8+ in lieu of a degree
Bachelor's Degree
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Communications experience

Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Organizational Leadership and Change, Communications, MBA, or Graphic Design is a plus
Experience with managing training development content, logistics, facilitation strongly desired
Experience in the utility industry
Prosci certification
ACMP accreditation
Learning and organizational development experience
Skills in graphic design and multi-media modes of communication

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $ $59.46 per hour.


The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
