Summary

The Cook is responsible for preparing necessary meals and food items to support the dietary and food service needs of the patients, visitors, and employees of the hospital. Duties include food prep, kitchen clean-up and customer service. This position works with a fun, close-knit team who enjoys their jobs Deliver food to patients and help customers. Wide variety of duties.

Schedule
  • Full-time position working 64 hours per two weeks.
  • Various shift times between 6:00AM and 7:00PM
  • Includes every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays required
Pay and Benefits
  • $16.24 or more per hour, pay determined by experience
  • Full-time benefits including medical & dental coverage, PTO and more
  • Earn extra pay for working evening/weekend/holiday shifts
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Successful completion of Safe Food Handling course preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience in an institutional food service department preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with patients, visitors, and employees in a professional, appropriate manner.
