About the Role:

GoodRx is currently seeking a proactive Senior Security Engineer to enhance information security and minimize risks across its products and internal systems. This individual will collaborate closely with the Security Engineering manager and engineering team to ensure the robustness and reliability of GoodRx's services. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, adept at multitasking, and proactive in maintaining a secure environment. Responsibilities include identifying and remedying vulnerabilities, analyzing risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for optimal security measures.

  • Provide escalated support for complex issues
  • Incorporate contextual awareness to deliver effective security solutions
  • Conduct risk analyses to address internal and external threats
  • Implement and maintain security technologies and tools
  • Collaborate on system security enhancements
  • Lead and participate in security investigations
  • Maintain corporate and production security protocols
  • Foster relationships with security vendors
  • Ensure compliance with security controls and support audit processes
  • Conduct secure code reviews

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes and source control technologies
  • Offensive security expertise is advantageous
  • Experience in DevSecOps environment
  • Expertise in scalable and secure solutions
  • Experience with risk assessment, emergency preparedness, and incident management
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Experience with SSO platforms and cloud security tools
  • Certifications like CISSP, AWS, and GCP are beneficial
