Your Daily Responsibilities Include:
  • Embrace a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
  • Specialize in Accounts Payable and Treasury accounting.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Debt and Derivatives processes and accounting.
  • Excel in Fixed Assets and internally developed software accounting.
  • Oversee month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and scrutinize monthly journal entries (prepaids, accruals, etc.).
  • Conduct analyses on P&L, Balance Sheet, and G/L accounts.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Guide, train, and develop junior accountants while collaborating with various departments.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX regulations.
  • Lead process enhancement and documentation initiatives.
  • Manage corporate and team accounting procedures.
Experience and Qualifications for Success at GXO:

Minimum qualifications necessitate:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 7 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills like pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
Desired qualifications also include:
  • Background in public accounting and/or CPA certification.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Oracle Fusion, Oracle AP module, HFM, Blackline.
  • Industry experience in logistics and transportation.
