We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Tax Analyst to join our growing team.

The Tax Analyst will work closely with Dorel Industries corporate tax teams along with the Dorel Home division to complete all tax documents through gathering data from different states and furniture divisions to complete federal tax returns.

They will work with many stakeholders across the company to timely and thoroughly complete all required tax forms.
Essential Job Functions
Prepare consolidated federal tax return with multiple state combined/single entity returns and forms 5472.
Complete the e-filing of federal and required state returns.
Gather data and file the sales tax returns.
Gather data and file local property tax returns.
Maintain the corporate tax calendar to ensure timely filings in all areas.
Review nexus requirements for income and sales tax purposes and assist in registering in new states.
Assist with notices and census reporting.
Assist with queries from the tax authorities as part of income tax audits.
Perform timely tax research on various U.S. tax matters.
Other duties and tasks as needed.
Experience and Necessary Skills
Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
CPA designation would be an asset to this role.

Prior Experience

Minimum of 3 years of corporate tax experience

Hard Skills


The ability to use Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, to create, edit, and share documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and emails.

Excellent computer skills and knowledge.
Knowledge of OneSource tax return software.
Knowledge of FAS & JDE an asset.
