West Oaks Hospital is seeking a dedicated and positive full-time Therapist to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Therapist will work with children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing a range of pychological and complex life experiences. The Therapist will also be responsible for collaborating with the patient, family/support, multidisciplinary team, outside providers, and community agencies to support and coordinate treatment and discharge planning. Inpatient Therapist will be responsible for continuing their personal development to enhance practice.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Complete Psychosocial Assessments, treatment Plan reviews, individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy sessions within established timeframes either face to face or telephonically-with all patients, family and significant others.
- Collaborates with multi-disciplinary team including physicians, RNs, Care Managers and other healthcare team members in crisis intervention; creating behavioral plans, case conferences, client centered interventions and discharge planning.
- Conducts assigned therapeutic groups. Provides comprehensive education, instructions, advocacy information designed to assist the patient and significant others to identify and secure needed health care follow-up services.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Education Required: Master's Degree in Human Services related field. Preferred: Master's in Social Work.
- Licensure: Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, Licensed Master Social Work (LMSW) or Chemical Dependency Clinician (LCDC) CPR, and hospital de-escalation certifications.
- Experience Required: One year of clinical experience in an outpatient psychiatric setting.
