Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Prequalification Manager to collaborate with our Estimating, Risk Management, and Operations teams. The primary focus of this role is to enhance the trade partner prequalification process, strengthen external relationships, and ensure smooth handoffs for project execution.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate clear communication with trade partners and project teams for comprehensive prequalification packages.
  • Evaluate and mitigate subcontractor default risks by reviewing prequalification forms.
  • Maintain a database of prequalified subcontractors.
  • Suggest improvements based on industry trends and collaborate with internal committees.
  • Establish strong ties with operations leadership to address trade partner concerns efficiently.
  • Assist in prequalification software utilization and conduct internal subcontractor evaluations.
  • Make informed decisions within the scope of authority and manage program requirements.
  • Generate insightful reports regarding prequalification programs in coordination with various departments.
  • Oversee project enrollment processes and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Support the preconstruction handoff process and monitor buyout progress on projects.
  • Work closely with Estimating and Operations teams to provide feedback to trade partners during buyout.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in related construction fields.
  • Proficient in analytical skills and financial assessments.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Trade Tapp, Building Connected.
  • Experience in subcontractor and vendor management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
